Drop-D bass lines?

Sign in to disble this ad
What songs with cool and interesting bass lines are around in drop-d tuning????

I love playing another brick in the wall, but it seems a waste to retune to play one song, so i gotta learn some more.

Slither! Velvet Revolver, man that thing Duff plays during the solo, on the recording you can barely hear it, but it's really damn cool. Check out this video from 1:50 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfdlXKZbpB8

Nah, Adrenaline is in standard, Around the Fur is Dropped-D, etc. They finally bottomed out with A# on the self-titled.

But as for cool drop-D basslines, I'll second the RATM suggestion made earlier.

Yeah, I was going to suggest RATM. There is some super funk in there. It actually sort of annoys me because I dislike drop tunings. BUT THAT IS OFF TOPIC!!!
