right! well first off, the first two songs on this myspace have been recorded using a squire p bass, and a blended signal from an ashdown electric blue 15" 180, The third with a cort c4 LTD, through a warwick profet rig, again with a blended mic/DI signal.
Im really a novice to studio playing, and it was tough! ive been playing bass about a year and a half now so naturally, red light fever was inevitable! but i think i just about pulled it off, albeit a litte shaked in places, but itl do for now.

We are however lucky enough to have unlimited access to some very nice studios and a guitarist who more than knows his way around music software!

i suppose the point of this is to say that you dont really need a "Ba$$" to get a good recorded sound!

Feedback and critisism isnt just welcomed, its encouraged! Do enjoy!

Very cool. I think your playing was great, though it was a bit buried in all the guitar and synth.

Does your singer like Gwen Stefani?

I really like the music though, it's like if the 80s synth sounded better. Like if a band like "Berlin" released an album today (which they may have, I don't keep track). I like it.

you wont believe how many times shes heard the gwen stefani thing! but shes got a good pair on her, thats for sure.
lungs guys, lungs.
the american gwen stefani accent isnt so bad in the demo their at the moment, she sounds a bit more british! please let no one take that as an insult by the way, theres just a very "you want to be american" stance by fans who like english artists. which is a shame, as personally, i think it sounds pretty darn good!

thanks for the kind words so far. =)

That's funny, because there is nothing sexier than a girl with a british accent to a lot of guys in the states. Well, maybe I'm alone... but I say sound like where you are from. There is no point to sounding like you're someone you're not. I mean, look what happened to Vanilla Ice!

I say, show your roots... not just because british accents on girls are sexy.

I really like this. If you guys ever release a cd let me know.

Edit- Oh yea and the guy who raps sounds exactly like Mike Skinner of the Streets.

It's hard for me to hear the bass, do you follow the synth through most of "Therapy" because I couldn't tell if it was that or some uber-compressed fuzz. The songs sound good, though. Maybe time for a whole band eq-ing?
