| Earth Wind & Fire - Let's Groove: Bass Tone?
I'm going to record the very simple bassline for this track and am looking for tone ideas.
The original bass was of course a synth and I want to avoid sounding anything like that. My recording will go into a multitrack cover of the song, so I will not be playing over the existing bass.
Basses available are:
Standard American P-Bass with 62 Pickups
Jazz Deluxe with N3 pickups
MM Stringray HS
Plus lots of amp simulations.
So, I'm looking for suggestions for the bass, pickup combo and suggestions for the amp or maybe DI? |
