i've jus started using Acid Pro to record onto my p.c with, and i cant figure out how to put the effects on any recordings, if anyone out there uses Acid Pro can you help me out plz? |

I still run Acid Pro 4 but I assume inserting effects is the same. When I get home, I'll do a play by play for you. It's pretty simple. Quick question, are you making sure the track is highlighted? One more question.........is your copy a legit copy? Cracked software is quite buggy! |

The deal with Acid Pro is it's ability to create and utilize loops. I don't believe Audacity can utilize loops. I didn't get a chance to get back to you yesterday. I had a gig to go to. |

If you mouse over it, it will say 'Track FX'. Click on it. Another smaller screen will appear usually with an eq effect already selected (not sure why that is). At the top where the track name is over to the right, click on the second button. This will remove that effect. Or you can add an effect to the chain by clicking the first button (edit chain). Select the effect type, click add, then ok and you've just added an effect. You can now adjust the effect to your liking. I hope this helps. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
