I haven't seen anything posted here about one of the styles that was pretty important to me during a few of my childhood years: electro-funk. Anyone who was breakdancing in the early to mid-80s will be very familiar with this style of music. I'm sure most of it would be utterly detestable to a lot of the folks who post here, but for those with a degree of curiosity or fond memories of "Planet Rock", let's get things started.
