In this amazing live record, ELP rearranges Mussorgsky's (sp?) classical pieces for bass, guitar, keyboard and drums. Some great wah-pedal bass and of course fantastic and spot-on playing by all.

I bought that record in 1973 as it was a bargain price release - regretted it very quickly !!

Only decent thing on it is "Nutrocker" - the rest is an embarassment to anyone - but especially Mussorgsky and Ravel!!

Aw. Well uh....you like any other ELP?

I love early ELP, but don't like the later things they made. For example, the Works albums.
Pictures is great IMO, also Tarkus and the first album.
I like Lake's playing and his sound with the use of Wah (Pictures) and Distortion (The Babarian)!

I heard ELP (I think it was them) do an acoustic rendition of Pachelbel's Canon. Sounded great. Does anyone know what album that is on? (or if it's even ELP I'm thinking of?)
