Enter shikari - YAY or Nay

I'm going to see this band enter shikari, a British band, in a week. The more i've been listening to them, i've found musically they might be better than i thought, particularly the bassist.
what do you guys all think?

Kiddies flavour of the month - the usual triumph of marketing over content.

Only IMHO, obviously.

yeah, that's myspace for ya.

I know what you mean totally. But now i dont care about marketing as such i'll listen to what i think is good, and not say its crap just because it's popular.

I actually spotted these kids yesterday @ my local FNAC, some weird mixes of techno stuff with punk/emo stuff

I've heard lots of things about them and how I should "love this band"
and to be honest from those videos the OP linked to.... I'm not sold, it sounds suspiciously to me like emo with keyboards over the top.

IMO obviously.

Can't say I understand what all the fuss is about musically. However, I respect how they have decided to not get a record deal and how well they have done with out one.
