What's with the hate?

It's not my cup of tea, but it's probably good for whatever genre it belongs to.

Wow. I've been really digging this video the past few days. So yeah, you owe me $20.

I'll admit, I thought it was kind of weird, although the breakdown is just hilarious. But it is catchy.

Once, we were all young. And our music made our elders want to PUKE. LOL

It's a lot better than what I was doing at that age. They claim their genre is "electronica/rap/screamo/crunk" ... can't really argue that.

I also clicked on a live video "BREE BREE" performed in Bakersfield - there are lots of girls up front singing along and trying to grab these guys, and the odd spectacle of someone in a large pink Pokemon(?) character outfit onstage dancing around. Can't link to it though, since they're cursing.

So, chicks dig it and lot of guys hate them for it. Add some chaos, and I give them a thumbs-up ! Certainly a lot more amusing than what I normally hear when I turn on the radio, or the Grammy Awards, if I'm honest. Damn catchy too.

the thing is...its not.
I'm not much for club bangers, but I can honestly say I've heard some that required at least an iota of thought and talent. This however...not so much.

first 1/3 of the songs I shook my head at it. 1/2 in, I considdered if there was a cool factor in this, for mixing genres. last half of the song, I started laughing and I couldnt stop again for a minute after

is this a serious video or is it a piss take by a few students?
if its someone having a laugh then fair play its pretty funny
if it supposed to be a serious attempt at creating music then i think there in trouble

its not a serious band is it? surely its one of those bands like tism or something
