Eric Clapton - Journeyman

Great piece of work. I bought this album about 22 years ago and was very impressed w the bass playing by Nathan East. Robert Cray, Phil Collins, David Sanborn, make an appearance, among others.
I'm listening to this now at work. It's still good! I just thought I'd post in case there are other Clapton fans with an opinion of this album.
Anything For Your Love, Running on Faith, No Alibis, Old Love are my favorites. I always disliked the Hound Dog cover.

I saw Clapton at Staples Center a while ago & Derek Trucks was the guest guitarist. That night Trucks stole the show & could possibly be one of the most talented living guitarists right now.

That would be Pino P. on "Bad Love" (w/ Phil Collins on cans).

I got to see Clapton live in Philly when he was touring Journeyman. One of his better post-70s albums.

Journeyman was the Clapton album that got me into him. Before that I was never really into Clapton as a solo artist. However, it was From the Cradle that totally made me a fan. Every time I hear his version of "Five Long Years" it gives me goose bumps.
