These guys were really underrated as a group. Critics and fans alike really lauded Eric's playing, but Eugene really shone as a singer/bassist even thought he's a guitar player. I like his style and absolutely love his tone! His bass lines and singing became difficult, so they actually hired a bassist on the third cd so he could concentrate on playing rhythm and singing. They also seemed to suffer from sub-par songwriting, but nonetheless, they're great musicians.
