Did a quick search and was surprised that this album wasn't mentioned here yet. I got it when it came out at the end of May- it's really great. For those that don't know her, Esperanza plays electric upright and sings, and she's excellent at both. Her latest album is great- it's one of very few albums that I consider to be easy to take in by the general public while still remaining "real jazz." Check out the album if you get the chance.

Oh, and it also doesn't hurt that she's absolutely gorgeous

Still working my way through Junjo & the new one; 1st listen thru...Junjo leans more on the Jazz side of the house.
Both are well-played & well-recorded.
