Here is a recording called "Chimera" that a friend of mine wrote and I played bass on. Please give it a listen and tell me what you think of the bass sound and technique.

Nice solid bass line. Great tone, and it really flows with the song. Great work!

I like the tone and your technique (sounds smooth), but, from a production aspect, the bass drum (and the drums in general) somewhat buries your lines. You need to be a little louder in the mix.

Nice line, I also think you should be slightly louder in the mix though. Aside from that I liked it.

I like it. It's a nice simple song that is easy to listen to. The bass is a bit busy, but it works. Here and there I wanted to hear a little more root, but that's being really picky. Nice playin'.

You came through the mix nice and clear on my speaker system.

Sounds good. You could have been a little louder but I have crappy speakers so it's hard to say. Overall it sounds great.

Great bass sound. My only thing would be the drum fills getting in the way, but everything else is beautiful.
