Yes! I love Shadow Gallery. The bass always sounds crystal clear.

Unfortunately, their really awesome vocalist died 3.5 years ago.

I remember finding Carved in Stone (arguably their best record) back in 1996 over the internet. At the time I had no idea there were other bands out there doing the kind of stuff Dream Theater was doing.

I liked Tyranny quite a bit but after that I think they started to lose something. I think "Cliffhanger II" was when it started. I don't care for "sequel" songs at all. And I think Room V was a sequel to Tyranny.

It's really sad about the singer too. I give them credit for trying to do a record without him but the vocals took a big step down - I think I've only heard Digital Ghosts once.

Very talented players though. CiS and Tyranny should be essential listening for any prog metal fan.
