Excellent Bass Tone Finds on Myspace

Anyone have good finds? I listen to a lot of myspace bands to see what I can do bookingwise (if they are on tour).

Here is my latest quality bass tone find, one of the best slap tones in rock-ish music I've heard in a while-

"Tokyo Sky Surpise" and "Shamu Suicide"

I'll just view excellent bass tone as something that fits the music. Ex: Billy Gould has excellent tone(s) and so does Mike Inez, but their tones (and approach to the instrument) are fairly different.

That said, I dig Matt Till's band King Bowman. KB

Also, Ron Now's band Guaime. Guaime

I believe this is the band of a TBer, but I can't remember his name. Kidney Riddler

I agree- it totally has to fit. The tone that I picked out wouldnt work for aggressive music at all. Keep em coming!

Wow, thanks for the props. abark's actually got some killer killer tone himself, it stands out while remaining warm/mellow sounding... in a metal setting, it's weeeeiirrd, but awesome.

A kick arse band I discovered while crusing myspace with mind blowing bass tone (huge and heavy): http://www.myspace.com/asteroidband

Check out "On The Planet" the bass carries that song.
