Anybody listened to this yet? I got it last night and I've listened to it about 5 times. The remix album actually made me realize how good the original was. I think it's good that they're not trying to remake "The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place" which is amazing in it's own right, but the piano playing on this album is one of the things that sets it apart from the other albums in their catalog. Anyone else have thoughts on this album?

I've been meaning to check out more stuff by this band. I have "those who tell the truth..." which is an absolutely stunning album. That is all I've heard by them though.

Explosions is a great band, my bandmate just picked up this album and I have had the chance to listen to it a couple of times. I like that the tempo is up a little and they seem to be trying some different things with their structure's. Like I said I have only heard it twice but I will probably pick it up sometime soon.

Is this there newest album? I have a few of their records, and they're definitely one of my favorite instrumental bands (alongside Mogwai)

yeah this is their new album... its good but not as good as earth is not a cold dead place, which imo their best album...if u like Explosions be sure to check out Dress Rehersal Rag...they are a more underground instrumental band which had an absolutely amazing first CD.... very on par with explosions. u can check them out here:
