1st the best part: no "double thumbing" involved.

To tell the truth, I don't thing that piece sounds good on nearly any instrument. I think Rimsky-Korsakov was just pissed at his orchestra and wrote it just to annoy them.

It shouldn't have any groove as the original piece certainly doesn't have any.

the impressive thing isn't the speed, but how incredbily clean he can play using(i think) 4fingers...

Yes it's very fast, and I'm sure that took many years of practice, but I just got NOTHING out of it.

The second one was awesome. The first one was meh.

Although, I'm sure that guy's crying himself to sleep because we don't like it. It's not like he has an entire audience (or two) of people who enjoy it or anything.
