What are your favorites? Has to be a song by a band that usually has vocals.

My top 5,

Rat Salad- Black Sabbath

Moby Dick- Led Zeppelin

Beck's Bolero- The Jeff Beck Group

YYZ- Rush

Triumph of Venus- Torche

Throw a rock at me for pointing it out, but the term "song" would indicate singing is involved. I'd suggest "instrumental" or "piece". I've had my knuckles banged with a ruler by the penguin for calling an instrumental a song.

More Allman Brothers!

Les Brers in A minor
Mountain Jam

Rush - La Villa Strangiato - unreal playing
Rush - YYZ - awesome
The Who - Cobwebs and Strange - so weird, but so cool
The Who - Sparks - ass kicking jam from Tommy
Edgar Winter Group - Frankenstein - killer riff

There must be more, but these come immediately to mind...
