Seeing as the first quarter of the year is nearly over, what would you say your favourite albums of the year so far are? For me they would be
Vampire Weekend - Self Titled
Be Your Own Pet - Get Awkward
Fleet Foxes - Sun Giant (EP)
Atlas Sound - Let The Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel
She & Him - Volume One |

And that's basically it so far, but a few of my favorite bands are going to release albums this year (hopefully I can get one out too... fingers crossed), so I have high hopes for 2008. |

Everything else i'm playing catch up on.
Silversun Pickups - Carnavas
Daphine Loves Derby - "On the Strength of All Convinced" &
"Good Night, Witness Light"

I'm really looking forward to the new Conifer record:
Their split with Ocean (another hometown band who have a record coming out this year) definitely made my top 10 list last year, and I have high hopes for this one... www.myspace.com/conifer
