Feedback on a new song!

Sign in to disble this ad
This is my bands second song recorded on cubase in my basement haha. Any feedback would be appreciated about quality or if you just like/don't like the song. One thing I can't figure out is how to get anything I record to the normal level of volume. Whenever I put up any songs on myspace you have to turn the volume up on the player to hear it at a regular volume. I'm not sure if I'm explaining that right. But any feedback is welcome...

Hey, I think the bass is the most interesting part of this song. It's solid and melodic. Good job, dude! Also, you need vocals...

Thanks for the quick responses! Yea, we've been throwing around the singer idea. The only problem is finding someone who can do everything (sing clean, scream, growl). A lot of our other songs are also very strange as we rarely do the whole verse, chorus thing. Most of the songs I write go from one part to the next without ever going back to a same part again. I guess we would just need to see how a singer would work out in the band.

I like the music.

I won't comment on production or anything like that since i'm listening to it on laptop speakers.

Feedback

I love your band's sound and the bass playing is great! The volume sounds fine to me, maybe it's your computer?
