I'd love to get some feedback on this. It's a piece that I just recently started working on. I posted it in the youtube sticky thread but haven't gotten any feedback. If you've got a minute, let me know what ya think. Thanks.

Almost 100 views but not one bit of feedback, positive or negative. I'm not sure what that means. Oh well. Thanks for looking.

I can see where you are going with this piece, and I like the progression.
I would like to see you work on improving your left hand technique.
It seems like you missed 5-10% of the harmonics you were reaching for.
My biggest issue is the 'scratching' sound you make as you shift up and down the neck. I would make it a priority to clean up my position changes.

I realize the vid is a rough draft, and I am not trying to knock you down. It is hard to put yourself out there naked, and I think you have some good ideas. Keep on wood sheddin' and I think you will have something there.

I like the piece...nice, but the actual video is useless to me. All I see is your face; I want to see what instrument you are playing and HOW you are playing it... I want to SEE both your hands. Pull the shot way back, and keep it up!

Thanks Guys.... I did miss some of the harmonics. I cleaned up my right hand technique by switching to finger picked. I used a plectrum on the recording purely for volume purposes. I'm self taught, so I'm unaware of what to do to clean up my left hand technique. Should I not touch the strings as I change position? I can try to re-record with the cam a little further away from me. I'm afraid the volume won't be there. I don't have any way of running directly into my laptop and my electric is being built currently. I'll give it a shot, though. Thanks again for taking the time to listen and critique.
