I recorded some stuff with my modified '91 Fender Prodigy (Fembic) and '83 Alembic Spoiler:

Bass 1

Bass 2

Recorded with my '83 Alembic Spoiler Koa and with my '91 Fender Prodigy "Fembic"

Alembic:
Solid Koa body
3 Piece maple neck through body
Ebony fretboard
32 inch scale
Alembic AXY Activators, Volume, Filter, Q switch and 4 way pickup selector (4th = standby)

Fender:
Poplar body
Maple bolt on neck
Rosewood fretboard
34 inch scale
Alembic P/J Activators,

The electronics are almost the same, same strings (R.Cocco 50-110)

The poll question is "which one sounds better, but can anyone tell me which one is the Fender and which one is the Alembic?

It's it's my interpatation of a bassolo by Jason Newsted: Click here

hard to say which I like better based only on that piece. I would like to hear them both doing other stuff as well. I think bass one sounds better for that one because the lows aren't as rumbly. However, the deep lows in clip two might grab me more on something less droney.
