Very nice. Doesn't always have to be a bass with humbuckers!
No reason a good jazz can't hold down the bottom in gospel, this is proof!

There are some real advantages to having a modern tone when playing with a choir, but a fender style bass can definitely a Gospel gig. I know a P-bass will cut through like crazy also.

More importantly, the longer I play, the less I am inclined to put much stock in any given brand or style of bass. Great players tend to get great results no matter what.

The fact that it is a true Fender Jazz, 4-string, amazes me more than the fact that it's a Jazz. The 5-string or greater has become so prevalent in Gospel music now...
