He should have practiced a bit more before recording, it could have been cool. The slapping parts didn't fit at all either. Sort of impressive, but it could have been better executed.

I give it a 8/10, not that I could do any better, just from a listener's standpoint.
And throughout the whole thing, I couldn't help but think to myself that you're the first "solo bassist" i've heard who I would really want to hear in a rock band setting.
