I honestly cringed a few times. Too many bends that don't go anywhere, but I guess that "Rocks." He should have practiced a bit more before recording, it could have been cool. The slapping parts didn't fit at all either. Sort of impressive, but it could have been better executed.

The OP is the guy in the video. Not bad, but the backing track really didn't do it for me.

How many of you have heard a real professional group do this song? The true classical versiion is so much better than the rock version.

As some users said, some of the notes were out of place. But it was improv.

I give it a 8/10, not that I could do any better, just from a listener's standpoint.
And throughout the whole thing, I couldn't help but think to myself that you're the first "solo bassist" i've heard who I would really want to hear in a rock band setting.
That's a good thing

But I agree that the slap was ridiculously out of place.
