Been posting for years and never put up a clip. Some of you probably wonder if I even play. This is from NYE this year...for what it's worth...

I think I found one. Going to get a new Fender American Standard Jazz tomorrow. I was using a friends Geddy Lee for this gig and it was nice, but in the long run, I think a more "traditional" jazz - pup placement, rosewood board, bridge - will be a better all around bass for me.

You and the drummer seem to have a tight grip on the groove. Well done!

Thanks. We've been plaing on and off for 5 years or so. He likes to rush on occasion but he's only like 23 so he has time to work on that. Don't we all.

I like the way the timing of the band seems to wander and step out synch briefly at times, it adds a real raw energy to the performance that makes it sound very lively.

I don't think it's intentional...we never rehearse...just get together and play a handful of gigs a year.
