Decided to record a cover of Casiopea's "The Sky".

I used garageband and tried to reduce some of the bass on the original track but doing so killed the bass drum and made the rest of the song song like crap so I just left it there. This is only my second recording so any tips, tricks, or help you could give me in either playing or recording would be appreciated.
