Finally!!! Nathan East solo I've been looking for...

I would have posted this a year ago but haven't had time to make a video...and apparently someone has:

Bass solo to start it off and at 1:55 (with no drums to distract)....very cool. This is 1981 Nathan East with the hunger.

What kind of techniques are being used here? Haven't heard a bass solo quite like this one.

That's wonderful! Slapped P-bass was a sound I came of age listening to.

Nice! I'll agree with the P-bass. Just sounds like a D pentatonic solo. Slapping and Hammer-ons.

As much as I love post-rock, metal, and other angry forms of music, I just cant live without funk!
