Hi all!
My band recorded this song in May, recorded vocals in November and we finally got it mastered today.
Could you be so kind to check out the songs, feel free to comment on it
Please bear in mind that the lyrics are in Icelandic. The song is about an old man who´s dumped at the old folks home by his kids, even though they had promised they´d never do it to him. He´s a bit frustrated about that as the singer is trying to convey with his singing style in this song Here is the song, it´s called Takk Fyrir My bands homepage

First thing I thought of was that it would make a great song to have playing in your head during a nightmare. Seriously though, that sounded great, awesome bass, really driving!

The singer has an EXCELLENT voice.
Cool Bass Lines!
The only thing that was a little iffy was the guitarists distortion sound. Just a little on the scratchy high pitch side. Do not take that as an insult though...Very kick ass. |

And this is an update by the way.
Tonight we went back to the studio were we mastered the song and we re-recorded couple of guitar tracks. After that, we completely re-mixed the song from ground up and it sound a whole lot better now!
I updated the link at the top of the page, but here it is anyways: Takk Fyrir (4.3mb)
