I kind of just took the melody and winged it then recorded myself playing it that day, my playing of it is much more clear now that i've had some time to get comfortable with it. But alas i have no batteries for my camera.

I think you did pretty well with it. Learning classical pieces is a great skill builder and I think everyone should give it a shot.

I would suggest you try to make it flow a little better (e.g., smooth it out). It sounds a bit robotic, like you are playing it in segments rather than as one piece. Not sure if your strings are old or if it's the recording but I always found that tapping sounds best with newer strings and a brighter tone.

Overall great job and kudos for trying something outside the box.
