First album, just want to share the Jah Love

Hey everyone,

My band just finished putting out our first record. It also happens to be the first album i've ever recorded, so it's pretty exciting for me! The music is reggae, funk, and a bit of soul hip-hop. Oh, and there's a prog-bluesy-reggae track, too. It's all live off the floor, except for the vocals. I'm playing bass on everything minus tracks 1, 3, and 11 (one of the guitarists and I switch off on those)

Don't look at this as me shamelessly self-promoting, rather it's just sharing the birth of my first musical child with the people who I know have an ear for good stuff! I realize it's far from 'special' on a forum like this to release a record, but i'll never get to put out another first one, so, y'know, I'm still enjoying the after-glow...

If you have any thoughts to share on anything, I'd love to hear them. One love!

Thanks, dude. Certainly appreciate the kind words. Definitely got no plans to stop any time soon!

Haha, yeah I love playing that little funky bit! If only I had my Ric when we recorded that song, though... *pointless lament*

Glad you like it! Throw a little octave pedal on, and it's instant drum-and-bass/dub dirtiness
