I've heard lots of people say this is their favorite Metallica video. Can't say I agree with them.

Saw this the other day at the metallica forums. Kirk talked about the material in the video in his video blog on the metallica youtube channel, did you check it out?

Its a pretty cool video but tbh i expected something much more, uh, epic? its probably my fav song on the album, awesome song. It could have been MUCH better, still cool nonetheless, im guessing theyre trying to do something other than the whole "metal band jamming in a warehouse" thing.

Gotta say it's my favourite Metallica video. Most interesting thing they've produced visually in ages. No promo shots of the band, Lars' ugly mug with his stupid sunglasses is thankfully absent, instead we get badass soviet gas masks and zombies. Their live videos are awesome, particularly the San Diego show, but their music vids leave a little to be desired imo. Nice to see they think a little deeper.

I think its pretty cool that Metallica hasent trimmed down the length of these songs for airplay and videos.

I have to admit that it seemed like a pretty cool video. I managed about 2 minutes in before I was too annoyed with the uber-boring song to continue, but just the 2 minutes I saw was easily tied with One for coolest video of theirs.
