The First Single from "Fly From Here"

For all the Yes fans out there: here's the single from the new album. It's part of the ~23 minute title track. I've heard exerpts from all the parts of the epic, and now I've heard all of this part. Except for one instrumental section (Which sounds like video-game carnival music......), this new symphonic piece from the guys is looking decent. Nowhere near the level of "Close to the Edge", "The Gates of Delirium", or "Mind Drive", but....fingers crossed. Let's hope the whole thing is as good as what you're going to hear below.

I like it about as much as some of the stuff from Drama. Like I said, not great, but good. What thoughts from you guys?

I like it. Kinda Drama-ish. The Roger Dean cover art is great.

As usual, the album might be worth buying just for Roger's cover work. Guy's a heck of an artist.

When Drama came out, it had to grow on me a little due to JA's absence.
Same with this new album. I'll definately give it a fair listen. I'm liking what i'm hearing so far.

Likewise. It's going to be pretty good, I think. It'll just take some getting used to not to hear Anderson's voice or lyrics on a Yes album.

Yeah... You always had to sit down with the lyric sheet while listening to Jon's singing.
Trevor Horn's lyrics off Drama didnt impress me as much as I had hoped, but I did really like Drama.
