First time mixing DI and mic'd signals...

So for this band we basically just record some jams that we structure pretty loosely. I typically play a very simple, repetitive bass (or synth) line and the drummer and guitar(s) improvise over it. I was having a hard time getting the harmonics I played in the bassline to mix well by having just a mic'd signal, so I finally decided to record direct and mic the cab and mix the two signals. Song can be heard here..

If Found Call Gladys | Octafish/Jarvis Probes

I record and do the mixes for this band and i really don't get too worked up over EQ'ing and all that; i know nothing about the technical side of mixing, I just go for what i think sounds good for a home recording. Any tips/comments on mixing/EQ'ing would be amazing, as would comments on the jams.
thanks.

sounds great ! i can hear the bass thru my 1 inch computer speakers. harmonics sound smooth. if you werent getting enough harmonics thru the mic adding 500 hz would have brought them out.

Cool, Thanks a lot. I never would have figured out how to EQ the bass to make those harmonics come out.

I mic the drums with two overhead AKG condenser mics, a beta 52 on the kick, and a AKG snare mic on the snare. I'm surprised it comes out so well considering we record in my bedroom, which is carpeted and kind of small/weird shaped. And I ran the snare drum through a delay pedal on this track, but other than that I don't effect the drums at all.
