"Perpetual Puzzle"

had a lot of fun with this piece. In and out of different state of minds caused it to go places I was happy to see it go.

check it out

Great track. I've been scouring posts like these and people's signatures in hopes that I will really enjoy it, and be able to support my fellow members here, but that normally isn't the case . This I really enjoy though. I have a couple issues mixing in parts of some songs, and I think your songs could really benefit from some re-writing of the drum tracks (how are you recording those? Midi? Or are you recording them with a kit?), and some vocals. Seriously, these are great tunes. Great playing.

Cool track. Did you record every instrument? What's your set up?

I enjoyed "No sitting area as well" very much, as well.
Keep it up!

DIG IT!

I hear some ( in my funky mind) harmonic counterpoints from the bass in the intro..and in some of the quieter transitions.....you know Jaco-esque rings ( hey man I throw those into plain vanilla rock so I'm biased...) dig the breakdown.....there the bass voice sounds better than earlier, is it the mids that are standing out too much to my ear..???

I'm no pro, these are subtle things that my mind came up with, although it's a fine fine piece of work as is!

Diggin on the groove in "Rendered Sanity"

Peace bro!

Quite nice! "Lucid Notion" and "No Sitting Area" are a bit reminiscent of Ratatat?

Dubdays: I am happy to hear that my track grabbed you enough for you to write that. I record the drums on Reason 4. Definitely could use some vocals indeed, working on that with some fellow collaborator . Thanks man

foq1978: My setup is listed on the site, on the left. But for bass, I use Squier Modified Jazz Bass. Thank you for the lending of your ear

BuffaloBass: You say the bass sounds better earlier?Definitely definitely, the more and more I listen now , I need to get my mixing skils on par. I was thinking of funkifying it at the very intro but it just wouldn't blend well with the overall atmosphere of the song, so I left that funky bassline at the end, which will lead into a much funkified track.thanks

cactus waltz: sure! I remember a few years back people would say the same thing about other tracks and I would have no idea who ratatat was. I decided to check them out and I definitely enjoyed their haromnic style, it is something I always was a fan of when it comes to music.

thanks to everyone who has listened so far, always open to feedback
