How many of you use these and other lossless audio files? I know there was a little discussion of it a while back here, but not a whole lot. I've been getting alot of shows from etree, but am looking for more places to find stuff. Sharingthegroove was a really good site, but has been taken down since I last checked it. What do y'all use for finding music?

I mostly try and go for .shns and .flacs. A lot of Smashing Pumpkins trading hubs allow loseless files only. If you offer one mp3 in the trading hub, you are kicked out. Which is stupid, because they enforced the rule at the beginning of this year...

Try the Live Music Archive. Lossless formats only, all live shows, traded freely with the band's permission.

Unless of course, that's what you meant by Etree?

Try the news groups 'alt.binaries.sound.rock.mp3s' etc.

Over 50,000,000 titles from 1930's on of every genre, all legally free.

Since 1/2004 I've DL'd 803 full albums and 365 singles.
