You can't go wrong with Peter Green-era Fleetwood Mac, or the transitional albums. But, unless you're trying to bang a cougar, there's really no reason to listen to any of the Buckingham/Nicks stuff. |

The Buckingham produced era might be over exposed, but it's almost perfectly crafted pop music and the basslines McVie played are a great lesson of playing for the song.

Like them, the Beatles, the Guess Who, Tragically Hip... they created tunes that were totally different from each other, yet it always sounded like "them". |

Played those songs "way back when" with a female vocalist who did a pretty good job on the Stevie songs. |
