I finally found a DVD with a lot of coverage of the bassist. I heard a few cuts from "Brian Auger and the Oblivion Express Live at the Baked Potato" on the local NPR station one Saturday. So I went looking for it and found the CD on Amazon which also included a DVD.
Holy crap! Great coverage of a great bassist: Derek Frank. If you've never seen it, do yourself a favor and seek it out - especially if you're into acid jazz funky stuff.
