my one complaint is that in the two videos, the drummer NEVER seems to find the pocket. He's always... off, which greatly detracts from the songs as a whole.

if its a timing thing your referring to..that's intentional believe it or not...He has been greatly influenced by beat makers like madlib, Jdilla, and flying lotus...all of which typically don't quantize their beats and sometimes the beat even sounds quite lopsided !! |
