Thanks for the nice words and critique! These tunes definitely aren't perfect, but we think they're good enough to get us some gigs. The idea is to go do a full length onto 2 inch (

) at the end of the summer.
The recordings were done in a friends basement using some MOTU firewire gear, a MacBook Pro, Logic, and a collection of pretty nice mics. Everything was recorded simultaneously with the exception of the vocals and the guitar solo in forevertron. The guitar wasn't double tracked, so I think with that considered it turned out pretty well.
My bass was run DI'd into a big tube preamp my friend built, and a mic on the cab of my AG500 and GS212. The bass was my old L2500 with dead strings. :-/ Certainly far from ideal, but we had to get a recording down if we ever wanted to get anywhere.
When we do this thing for real I'll have my Stambaugh, and I'll be using my big rig, so hopefully the bass tone will be better.
Also, my guitar player just got a Diezel VH4S (it's a Triaxis and 2:90 on the demo) and I think two tracks with that thing are going to absolutely CRUSH.
