I really dig the sound and i'm having a future project of making a fretless P. Is there any famous/infamous recordings with Fretless P's? What's your favourite recording? |

If I'm not mistaken, Paul Simonon of the Clash used a fretless P quite extensively, although Joe Strummer was probably the one actually playing the lines a lot of the time.

that bass was owned by neil jason and is the one you hear on his work with cindy lauper "time after time" etc etc
I've seen will's p bass as well as have handled it, its as solid as they come, yet simple. he's had it in his arsenal forever...since the mid 70's. its red and worn on the edges.
here's a list of cd's wher ehe plays it:
rob mounsey "back in the pool"
rob mounsey "mango theory"
he plays alot of fretless on these two cds |

Tasty lines, too. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
