Chris Squire just friggin rocks in this song! I always loved this tune and heard again today. Sounds even better in headphones!

Been watching this long live clip since I posted the link - bass is kind of buried in the mix, but holy cow is Steve Howe on fire!

It changed my life too. I started on guitar listening to Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, Supertramp, Barclay James Harvest and others in my youth (thanks a lot to my father) and then I came across by myself to a vinyl copy of Yessongs in 1991.. Listening to his rendition of The Fish I thought "you can do this with a bass guitar?!" and I instantly wanted to play that instrument. I've never regret it and though I listen to and appreciate a lot of other bass players, whenever I'm in doubt I always think "hey, what way Chris would have handle that situation?". I am now a happy musician and bassist thanks to Yes. Short story because I don't want to bother you and sorry for my very bad English.

Just amazing. Probably my favourite Yes album, but definitely my favourite Squire album.

That bassline is amazing. Easily one of the most amazing basslines I've ever heard, tone wise and technique wise. I can listen to that song 4 times in a row and not get bored of it. Yes is definitely one of my new favorite bands.

His tone on his solo album is sublime.... The perfect Ric tone IMO. Fat with just the right amount of "rattle"

I remember me and my friends as kids and discovering Yes...we all wanted to be bassists after hearing this. None of us succeeded.
