It changed my life too. I started on guitar listening to Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, Supertramp, Barclay James Harvest and others in my youth (thanks a lot to my father) and then I came across by myself to a vinyl copy of Yessongs in 1991.. Listening to his rendition of The Fish I thought
"you can do this with a bass guitar?!" and I instantly wanted to play that instrument. I've never regret it and though I listen to and appreciate a lot of other bass players, whenever I'm in doubt I always think
"hey, what way Chris would have handle that situation?". I am now a happy musician and bassist thanks to Yes. Short story because I don't want to bother you and sorry for my very bad English.
