I've been a pretty big Incubus fan for a while, but for some odd reason I NEVER KNEW ABOUT FUNGUS AMONGUS. It's such an amazing cd. There bassist has really creative slap lines on the cd. And to think that they were only 19 when the all recorded it....incredible. Anyone else think so?

Too bad they turned into a crappy pop band. I really like their older stuff.

Man, everyone says that.

I like their new stuff as well as their old stuff. It's just a different facet of a band. If they never changed, would we be complaining about that?

I'm not trying to bash your opinion, though. Please don't take it that way. I'm just saying that it's good to see bands progress, because after all, it's just their expression. So whatever they do with it is what they want to do with it.

I agree that it's cool to see a band progress but they changed a lot. If I hadn't heard their older stuff I'd probably like the way they sound now. It's not that they're horrible or anything I just can't get into their new stuff. Know what I'm sayin'?

He has a new band - they have a long name that I can't really remember, but they're a smaller, local band. really good stuff, very funky. they have some videos on myspace somewhere!

they've changed a lot if u compare fungus with their latest album, but as far as them progessing i think each album was a stepping stone to the next album, theres defintly a link between each album. But ther earlier stuff defintly appeals to me more.
