How about... Larry Graham - It's Alright and a cover of it by the FunkHome AllStars (check the crazy cool sound on the bass, most audible at 1:40!) The Ojays - For the Love of Money Joss Stone - Incredible (maybe more into R&B (?), but like Chaka, she's got something going on that people don't realize) The Rascals - Jungle Walk (I think this one might have been posted before though) Aretha Franklin - Rock Steady
Hope those all qualify...
