The funk brothers

Sign in to disble this ad
Last year the funk brother came in montreal for a free concert in the street of montreal.
Over 100 000 people where there.

I couldn't be there for many reason, I moved that they, I was exausted, it was a very very hot day, very humid. Not very cool when you are surounded by 100 000 people...
Anyway I didn't go and I still regret it today.

Tonight they showed that concert on TV. I almost cried... Why I didn't go??

Joan Osborn was there, the four tops also, incredible concert!!

I wish they will release it on DVD.

We're lucky here in Motown, get to see them about three times a year, usually free concerts.

Have you seen Standing in the Shadows of Motown DVD (not the book) I think it is probably the closest thing they have.

It's a documentary about the Funk Brothers. lot's of great behind the seen stories and some concert footage. Not a lot of concert footage though, more than likely it will leave you wanting more.

Bob Babbitt was the bassist, guest artist was Bootsy, Chaka Khan, Joan Osborn....
