Funk in the Studio! (in the vein of Herbie, Headhunters)

Another track that we were able to track in the studio the other day. This was a new tune to us at the time so it's not quite as tight as I think it will sound eventually. I do feel though that is the closest I've come to "locking up" with the drummer in the studio, and that's definitely encouraging.

Tell me what you think if you've got the time.

Very nice. I agree, very Herbie-like.

That exagerrated "one" is so Paul Jackson. You nailed the vibe.

Thanks man.

We didn't really have any say over the mixing and I haven't really even talked to anyone in the group about the track yet. I suppose they could be a touch louder, but they don't strike me as being "quiet" or lost in the mix either though.

I'm also not sure what stage of mixing this track is in right now.
