Jagger & Lennon

It says right on the linked page, "1973 (2010 Remaster)".

Thanks for posting the link, killer track.

Does anyone know who is playing bass on the song? I heard Jack Bruce but the line is too funky for his style

According to what I found.

"Too Many Cooks", produced by John Lennon and recorded in 1973 in Los Angeles. Guitarists Danny Kortchmar and Jesse Ed Davis, keyboardist Al Kooper, bassist Jack Bruce, drummer Jim Keltner and, on backing vocals, singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson. Neither Lennon nor Bill Wyman, who was present at the session, appear on the track.

I think Jack was a good bit funkier than given credit for. Love the line in this. As for Jagger - nothing can ruin a song for me faster than hearing that annoying m*th**f**ker's voice. Poser - start to finish.
