sounds decent man, might be good to put it to a drum track or a metronome or something some of the rhythms are a little off, but sounds decent for a first cut.

I realize that I can't technically say that no one has ever played funk (well) with a pick, but I can say this. I have never heard funk played well with a pick.

I have no clue what you were trying to do in that solo, but like the others said, "Get a drummer". It'll help you with timing in ways you'd never thought of. On top of that, a good drummer will allow you to play syncopated lines and rhythms as well as tight slap lines.

Metronomes can only do so much but a cheap drum machine could do the trick.
