A friend ordered it for my birthday and it just arrived today,

and I am quite pleased with the album, Some of the songs are really good, the only thing that puts me off is that they are covers. But i think some of the songs are better than the originals or just as good.

I have to reccomend it to anyone who likes metallica i guess

also the bass is really really clear, unlike justice.....

Yeah I like that you can hear Newsted loud and clear. Crash Course In Brain Surgery is my favourite song. Or Breadfan (is that on Garage Inc., or Garage Days Re-Revisited?).

Garage Inc is a good album. James' singing is IMO awful, but most of the songs on there are well done.

I think Disc 1 of Garage INC has the best Jason mix out of all their records, Metallica did a really fine job rocking on those songs

More like Garbage Inc..... ahahahahahah ahahhha aaaaaaaaaahhhh ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaa ha ahhha ahahahahah aha ha ha haaaaaaaa ha aha ha aha haaaa haa ahaahahahaha ha ah ahha hahahahahahah ahahhha aaaaaaaaaahhhh ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaa ha ahhha ahahahahah aha ha ha haaaaaaaa ha aha ha aha haaaa haa ahaahahahaha ha ah ahha ha.

That's right... I went there. With most albums devoted to covers, I usually think one or two were better than the original, not here. Metallica is really too cut and dry (not sure what that means in this context, but I'm using it), I don't know, I just get really bored listening to them cover all those awesome songs. And covering Mercyful Fate? What were they thinking

Not my cup of gravy by any means, I'm among the Ride/Master/Justice fans. There were a couple of cool songs on Load... and maybe Reload too, but Garage didn't really do anything for me.

The last decent Metallica release as far as I'm concerned, I still spin it from time to time.
