Geezer's tone on "The Devil You Know"

I hope this is in the appropriate forum:

I'm really digging Geezer Butler's tone on the Heaven and Hell album "The Devil You Know". I was wondering if anyone would know how to get a similar tone? I play an Ibanez ATK through an Ashdown rig with a Sansamp BDDI.

Here are some examples:

He's used lots of different gear over the years. On this album and tour I am very sure he played a Lakland P/J bass and Ampeg. Usually pretty simple setup with few effects, but very loud volume that half distorts his sound and heavy finger attack.

An amazing player and person.
