...Little River Band, 'Reminiscing.' Just wow. Listen to it, again.
Talk about taste- playing for the song- playing exactly the right things at the right time, tone, the whole thing is a real lesson. Try and play it as he did, without throwing in fills- it's hard to resist! But it's so right, as played and recorded. Just SO money.
Creative?- "Hurry don't be late, I can't hardly wait, I said to myself when we're old....." What he played through that-- pure gold.
Just so good. I'll bet Anthony Jackson likes it as much as I do- it's the kind of thing he would have done, I think.
