well, i found out about this guy through another message board i post at and picked it up from guitar9. the guy is an austrian guitar player who hired an all star band and recorded his tunes. the band is gary willis, kirk covington,and bob berg (i guess this was his last session). so with that lineup, i had to buy it.
it doesnt dissapoint. at times its remenicent of gary willis' bent cd. bob brecker....uh i mean berg does some cool horn section stuff and kirk is solid. the best part is gerald is pretty ego-less. he really has these guys play and takes a back seat on around half the album. he's a great player too. kind of frank gambale'ish at times.
